Walker Grimshaw

Walker Grimshaw is known for the diversity of his sound, combining traditional acoustic instruments with a more experimental palette. Recent credits include AMI's Breaking Character, VICE's Net Worth, Paramount+'s 26th Street Garage, and The National Film Board of Canada's Dear Audrey for which he received a Canadian Screen Award nomination and Prix Iris nomination. His album release for Atmospheric Studies II was supported by a live light show exhibited at multiple venues across Canada.

Recent composer collaborations have found success with a colourful blending of complimentary styles. Collaboratively, he has scored feature films The Legacy of Cloudy Falls, and Mother Father Sister Brother Frank, as well as TV movies We're Scrooged, and TV series Believe, Cursed Histories, & Revolutions That Changed History.

During his downtime, Walker indulges in his love for cartography, ventures through local trails, and enjoys quality time with his cats, Bob and Moe.

Walker is a member of the Screen Composer Guild of Canada, as well as the Toronto Musicians Association.
